“Listen Out” make ‘radio graffiti’ and micro FM transmitters

Listen Out is a chance to learn how to record and edit radio graffiti and learn how to make micro FM radio for installation. “Listen Out” will explore Folkestone through ‘radio graffiti’. Over two days we will be making a public installation for FM Radios, making tiny pirate radio stations using micro-FM transmitters which you will learn how to make. No experience is necessary, just your creative ideas as you learn how to record and edit to create ‘sound tags’ of Folkestone people and places across the city. This participatory work will become a radio installation at the Harbour Hub on the final day.

This free 2 day radio art workshop runs 11-12 Oct starting at the Quarterhouse on Sat 11th 10-4,
